cleft lip & palate surgeries
Healing the Children Rocky Mountains (HTCRM) is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to helping children all over the world who are in need of specialized medical and surgical care. Due to the lack of medical and financial resources, the present and future can be bleak for millions of children. Our passion is to change the lives and futures of all patients and families who come to us for the healing they so desperately need. Specializing in pediatric care, we provide:
cleft lip & palate surgeries
hearing tests
free hearing aids
eye surgeries & exams
free glasses
speech therapy
Healing the Children Rocky Mountains is a 100% volunteer organization. We are a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. There are no paid staff and all services provided are possible through the generous donations of time, money, and skills. This includes our medical teams who donate their vacation time and often pay for all of their own expenses to provide free care to children. There are three ways people can help.
be a medical volunteer
be a community volunteer

Healing the Children was formed in 1979. Today there are 15 chapters spread across the United States. Healing the Children Rocky Mountains was formed in 2014 and is the newest Chapter. It was noticed that there are so many people who want to make a difference in the world and help children, but often just need a vehicle to allow them to serve. The Rocky Mountains Chapter is focused on bringing together teams of volunteers from Colorado and Utah to provide free care to children around the globe and around the corner in our own communities.

The Rocky Mountains Chapter started with Dr. Ryan and Ann Brown, a married couple from Denver who decided they want to spend their lives giving back to others and helping children. After participating in two amazing missions to Peru through Healing the Children Northeast, they decided to start a local chapter of Healing the Children to provide a way for volunteers in the Rockies to get involved with such important work. That desire and vision has spread to many in Colorado and Utah as we continue to partner with HTCNE in Lima, Peru and expand to reach more children in other countries.
